Santa Monica Conservancy presents the 2026 Annual Preservation Awards with Guest Host: Frances Anderton
Featuring Special Tribute Award to
For bringing renewed life to historic buildings and places for more than four decades, creating sites uniquely responsive to history and the environment. Highlights include Bergamot Station Art Center, the Annenberg Community Beach House, City Hall East, and more.
The program explores FF&P’s work in Santa Monica that enhances our civic and cultural life, such as affordable housing for Community Corp, adaptive reuse converting the General Telephone Building into Eli Broad’s Art Museum, and Tongva Park comfort stations.
The program includes two additional awards for Cultural Landscapes:
- The Santa Monica Bay Foundation for restoring and reconstructing dunes on the beach, bridging time to create new ecological environments.
- Volunteer Service Award to Hilda Weiss for creating and staffing a garden tour featuring native California plants at the Conservancy’s headquarters in Ocean Park.
Santa Monica Conservancy reprises a "Taste of Santa Monica" at 2:00 pm before the Awards at 3:00 pm.
This program is a fundraiser for the Santa Monica Conservancy.
