Stacey Ravel Abarbanel will describe the enduring legacy of Cecil Gale, who built many Santa Monica homes between the 1930s and 1950s. Known for his Spanish Colonial, Monterey Colonial, and Tudor Revival designs, Gale's homes are celebrated for their ornate archways, intricate plasterwork, stained glass, and picturesque gables.


Santa Monica Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to heritage conservation, from preserving cultural narratives to revitalizing historic places.
