Santa Monica Conservancy will host an evening reflecting Santa Monica’s 150th anniversary and the centennial anniversary of Route 66, the iconic highway that stretches from Chicago to Santa Monica. The program includes a reception at the Conservancy’s Shotgun House to unveil a new exhibition panel recognizing the Route 66 terminus in Santa Monica and a presentation by a historian familiar with the Route 66 story.
